In the year 2056, a starship of refugees seeking freedom from the oppressive world government of Planet Earth land on a planet circling the star Alchibah. There, these colonists begin a new life, a new world, a place where the limited government is subordinate to the citizens. First, they have to create that government and the documents that will constrain it. Actually, first they have to survive! As in any science fiction story, there are plenty of other problems as well...
The overall series is known as the Ex-Earth Colonies.
